Goodbye NYC….
These are the guys that have the most under rated job on tour. The truck drivers, without these guys and bus drivers none of the big tours would get done.
Always be nice to the drivers on tour specially if they are carrying Merch in them. If you don’t respect them they can make the life of anyone on tour difficult. Specially us Merch people by parking the trucks blocks away instead close to the venue where you can bring in all the Merch. Truck drivers are lonely guys that drive thousands of miles by themselves but have the best stories about bands specially from the good old days. Some of the best conversations I have had are with my bus driver late at night. I want to thank the truck driver on this tour for always looking out for me by making sure my lights inside the truck work and not having me walk blocks to get shit mid show when it’s busy.
Always tip your truck driver in cash at the end of the tour and they will always remember you on some other tour down the line. Sometimes I may forget but I never forget to treat them just the same way I would treat the band.
Thank you to all the drivers out there specially the ones that travel with their loyal companions mans best friend their Dog’s.
P.S. these are two different trucks parked side by side not a mirror effect these guys are amazing drivers.
